Though humans are the ones we normally think of as taking oatmeal baths, dogs can also benefit from the positive effects of oatmeal. Homemade oatmeal soap can be used as an alternative to often harsh commercial pet shampoos, or to help alleviate symptoms of allergies, flea and tick bites or other itchy skin conditions.
